On September 2nd, in the Branford College common room, 25 prospective engineering students joined the SWE board and other engineering upperclassmen to discuss classes and shopping period. The upperclassmen provided insights into how to create a balanced schedule while still fulfilling all engineering course prerequisites and classes.

The Yale SWE Board attened the WE14 + ICWES16 conference this during Fall Break, 2014. More than 7,000 women from around the world will come together in Los Angeles in October from the 23-25 for WE14 + ICWES16. They had a chance to meet their peers and engage organizations at the largest global exchange for change for women engineers.

Yale graduate and undergraduate SWE team up to host a mentoring program kickoff on Thursday, October 30 at 7PM.  We decorated homemade cookies for Halloween (costumes welcome) and discussed our goals for the program.  This was a fun opportunity to meet grad students in each engineering department.  People stopped by to sign up and learn more about what we have planned for the rest of the year.
