WE17 the largest conference for women engineers, was a huge success held in Austin, Texas! Yale SWE was honored to obtain 3 awards: collegiate gold award, best practices mentoring, and SWE resource promotion. Bridget Hegarty was chosen from a competitive pool of applicants to present her poster, in addition to giving updates and insight at our Region meeting. Overall, Yale SWE members attended great talks and workshops, successfully managed interviews and obtained offers, hosted an outreach booth to promote our events, and were able to represent women in engineering with great pride. We can’t wait for next year for WE18 in Minneapolis!
