A follow up to last year’s workshop on understanding and identifying gender bias in STEM, this year’s workshop will focus on strategies for navigating gender bias and identifying ways in which this bias implicitly affects our choices. This discussion based workshop will be moderated by April Bailey, a Yale PhD student investigating how others’ gender affects perception even when it should be irrelevant. Lunch will be provided!
